Feb 8 2022 sripuram2022-02-08A tall ornate wooden flagstaff with ringed carved bands rises from a carved temple-style base decorated with garlands and flowers, topped by a yellow flag bearing a painted sun, trident and bird motifs. Palm fronds are tied to the pole. A person in red and white ritual clothing with floral garlands reaches up to pull the flag cord, and a bald man in white is visible at the lower right edge. Coconut palms and a metal roof frame the bright, washed-out outdoor scene.2012-04-23February 06 20142014-02-06February 06 20142014-02-06December 10 2022 sripuram2022-12-10January 01 20142014-01-01Night photograph of a flag-hoisting ceremony at an outdoor ashram site. A figure in orange-saffron robes stands at the base of a tall, ornate copper-coloured flagpole, pulling a red cloth banner upward; the banner bears a small emblem near its top. Behind the pole are a tall palm tree and a dark night sky. In the lower left foreground sits a dark stone deity murti, a Nandi-like or Shiva-linked figure, adorned with a garland of white and yellow flowers and a bead necklace. A saffron-coloured cloth lies draped over the pole's base, and an orange cloth sits on the platform in the lower right. The figure's face is not visible, so the figure's identity cannot be determined from the image.2008-03-26January 01 20172017-01-01 +1 copiesJanuary 02 20092009-01-02Feb 8 2022 sripuram2022-02-08February 06 20142014-02-06December 14 20162016-12-14
