Four women in face masks stand in a carpeted hall performing a Lakshmi puja for Diwali. The woman in the foreground wears a red kurta with green trim and holds a metal plate of lit diya lamps toward a white cloth on the floor, where brass and steel bowls, kumkum, and small offerings are arranged. Behind her, a woman in a teal salwar kameez with a white shawl holds her hands together in prayer, and a woman in a white sari with a red border rings a handbell. To the right, a long red-draped table holds rows of fruit, sweets, and food in small bowls beside a decorated deity murti on a brass stand. Maroon curtains and yellow walls frame the room.

A photo taken in a bare indoor hall with yellow walls, a dark red curtain and brass oil lamps at the left edge. Five women in face masks stand in a row on a white cloth, facing right with palms pressed together in namaste. The woman at right in a teal kurta holds a lit lamp on a tray over a spread of puja items: flowers, small bowls, plates of fruit and sweets, and a decorated kalasha-like offering. Other women wear pink, green and gray-patterned salwar kameez. The scene suggests a Diwali-season puja, with the women in prayer and the lamp offering central.
