February 03 20172017-02-03A photo of a man seated on a grey tiled floor beside a pillar, wearing a white dhoti with orange-gold borders and a gold bangle on his wrist, holding out a small dark object toward a brown macaque monkey sitting close by. Bamboo and sunlit foliage fill the background. The man is partially cropped and his face is not visible. No one is identified by name in the image.2017-02-03March 12 20202020-03-12July 08 20122012-07-08November 15 20132013-11-15January 14 20182018-01-14A seated man in saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala sits cross-legged on an orange cushion placed on a low wooden stand, eyes open and looking to the side with hands folded in his lap. Behind him a large black Nandi statue wears a garland of yellow and magenta flowers and a beaded necklace, resting on an orange pedestal. A brass kalasha-style vessel sits at the left edge beside a shallow earthen ring filled with ash-grey material, and a woven mat lies in the foreground. Palm trees and an orange-painted wall stand in the background, with one standing person in pale clothes visible at a distance. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, saffron garments and a rudraksha mala, seated in a meditative posture.2011-02-25Photograph of a group of young devotees in saffron-orange cloths wrapped over their shoulders and waists, several with white stripes painted on their arms and foreheads. In the foreground a girl with long dark hair and a red pendant holds yellow prasad or offering mixture in both hands, while others around her hold up similar yellow offerings. Behind them a bare-chested young man with long hair and white forehead markings stands among the group, and a blurred yellow-walled building appears in the background.2017-07-03A shaved-headed priest in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with gold-edged border pours water from a silver kalasha over a small bronze deity murti during an abhishekam. He wears a long gold bead necklace with a pendant and red-brown rudraksha-style bands on his upper arms and wrist. Behind him a woman in a blue sari stands near a gold-framed altar, and a golden staff and carved stone pillars frame the temple interior. The bronze figure is pouring-washed on a brass tray.2011-11-01Outdoor photo against a pale sky with trees at left. Two men stand on an elevated platform and smile at the camera. The man at right wears saffron-orange robes with a red and yellow waist sash, a long rudraksha mala, red bangles, a small earring, and a red tilak with white markings on his forehead; he holds a white notebook. The man at left wears a white dhoti with an orange border, is bare-chested, has white markings on his forehead, and raises a thumbs-up with his arm linked to the other man's. A purple logo sits at the top left corner.2016-11-11Photo of a ritual meal in a hall. A young boy with curly hair, bare-chested and wearing an orange cloth wrap with a white vertical forehead mark, leans forward and offers a handful of yellow-green food to an older youth on the right, who has a white forehead mark, rudraksha beads and an orange shawl and opens his mouth to receive it. Behind them, another person with long dark hair in an orange garment stands, and several orange-clad people sit on a floor with coloured mats and food. Maroon curtains hang in the background.2017-07-03A barefoot man in saffron-orange robes with a maroon border walks along a dirt path beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. He wears a long rudraksha mala across his chest and a red tilak on his forehead, looking downward. A low curved stone bench lines the path, with sandy mounds and a small shrine-like structure visible behind. Another person stands at the far right edge in white. The cues here are a rudraksha mala and saffron robes but the face and presentation are not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so the figure is described by role as a sannyasi.2011-03-05
