December 21 20162016-12-21A photograph of a shirtless devotee kneeling before a seated figure in a red-brown wrap, who places his right hand on the devotee's forehead during an initiation. The seated figure wears a long, swept-back hairstyle, a rudraksha bracelet, a gold necklace, a rudraksha mala, and a large red and white flower garland with yellow marigolds. Behind them stands a stone deity murti and a red-cushioned silver-lion throne. Probable Swamiji is the seated figure, identified by his long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas, ornate gold jewellery and red-brown ceremonial wrap, performing a shiva deeksha blessing. The devotee has curly hair, a bare chest with white painted lines, and holds his hands together in prayer.2017-10-05October 05 20172017-10-05A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold-and-red throne, wearing a rust-brown dhoti and shawl with long dark hair flowing down his back, a white-and-red tilak on his forehead, a rudraksha mala, a gold ceremonial necklace and gold armlets, with a long garland of white jasmine and red roses around his neck. He leans forward and applies a marking or tilak to a bare-chested devotee in white dhoti who kneels before him, the devotee wearing a yellow marigold garland. Behind them stands a brass kalasha-style finial and a brass trident-shaped ornament, with a red-and-white cloth and flowering plants in the background. Another person in white sits at the right edge. The seated man matches the page's appearance cues of long swept hair, ornate gold jewellery and garlanded throne presence, so he is described as a person; the page indicates he is present at this event.2016-10-26A seated man with long dark hair, a full beard and a sandalwood-style forehead mark wears a saffron-orange shawl over his shoulders and a multicoloured flower garland with a rudraksha-style mala. He sits on an ornate white and red throne, his right hand raised over the head of a young man who stands before him facing away from the camera, wearing a white dhoti-style cloth and a sacred thread. Behind them stands a large golden deity murti with a gold torana frame and a red curtain. A water bottle sits at the lower right and green leaves decorate the throne area. The scene suggests a blessing or darshan.2017-02-17July 01 20162016-07-01A seated bearded man with long swept-back dark hair, a white tilak band and red bindi on his forehead, wears a rust-brown sleeveless robe, a pink-and-white flower garland, a crystal and rudraksha mala, and a gold necklace. He smiles while a second man in a white shirt with an orange shawl leans in, one hand on the seated man's head. Behind them is an ornate gold-carved throne with a red cushion. The seated man's distinctive long hair, ceremonial gold necklace and rudraksha mala are visible, so he is described as a probable Swamiji, seated in a blessing scene.2017-03-03October 05 20172017-10-05May 17 20182018-05-17October 26 20152015-10-26A seated man with swept-back dark hair, a yellow tilak on his forehead, a yellow and orange marigold garland and a red-orange cloth draped over his bare shoulder touches the forehead of a kneeling man in a white kurta with a red-orange shawl. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair, a ceremonial garland and orange clothing. Beside him is a gilded cobra-hooded object and a peacock-feather fan on a silver staff. Background shows a framed colourful tapestry and two more people in white and orange. The kneeling devotee receives blessing with an open palm raised.2014-05-14October 05 20172017-10-05
