In the foreground a bald man in an orange saffron robe with a rudraksha mala and bright white forehead and arm markings holds a small brass bell and leads the recitation with an open mouth. Beside him a man in white dhoti and shawl with a red rudraksha mala and white horizontal tilak holds a bell. Behind them rows of boys in maroon-and-gold shawls with white tilak lines sit cross-legged, several holding small brass bells and a brass lamp and offering plates lie on a cloth.
