Night-time photo of a crowded open-air gathering on a dirt ground lit by string lights and floodlights. A group of men in white dhotis and shirts, plus a few in checked and striped shirts and a boy in an orange shirt, stand in a loose line with arms outstretched toward one another, moving together. Two women in saris sit on plastic chairs at the front, one in an orange sari and one in a beige floral sari. Behind them stand banners and a booth with small lights strung along the top. Many onlookers fill the background.

Night photo of a large crowd walking across an open dirt courtyard near a lit temple gateway with a tower-like structure in the background. Many men wear white shirts and dhotis, some in checked or pastel shirts. Women wear saris in orange, pink and teal. In the foreground a man in a white shirt has a green-and-white striped shawl draped over his shoulder, and a woman in a teal blouse and red-patterned sari carries a small bundle. Stalls with white cloth and items are visible at the left edge, and a flowering tree stands at right. The page appears to describe a walk around Arunachala Hill, but no a person is visible in this frame.

Night photograph of a large crowd gathered on sandy ground beside a long line of white floodlights and strings of small lights, with a dense queue of people in white and light-coloured clothing stretching across the background. Foreground devotees include men in white shirts and dhotis, a woman in a pink sari, a woman in a white sari carrying a bag, and an older woman in a green and white sari. Many people wear white, with a few in pink, orange and blue, while people walk and stand in a crowded circular path area in the evening.

A night-time outdoor gathering at an ashram, lit by a bright street lamp on a pole at right. A large crowd of men in white dhotis and shirts, along with some women and children, fills the open ground, many standing close together and some seated on the ground at lower left. At the centre background, a man in an orange-red garment with a beaded necklace stands out among the white-clad crowd. A man in a white shirt at right extends his arm toward the crowd. A wooden pillar or structure with carved panels stands at the left edge, and dark trees fill the background.

Night outdoor procession in a crowded street-side setting lit by string lights in purple, blue and green under a tent canopy. In the centre, women in colourful silk saris (blue, pink, orange, multicoloured) hold sticks and dance in a circle. Behind them, several performers in bright yellow costumes and masks stand near a white van. A bare-chested drummer in pink and purple cloth plays a large drum, and a man in white dhoti and shawl stands among onlookers. Dozens of spectators in white, orange, purple and red clothing watch closely. No individual is clearly identifiable as a candidate for a person in this frame.

Night-time outdoor scene on a dirt road, lit by a street lamp, with a crowd of devotees walking together. At the centre, a figure in an orange-saffron robe with a long dark rudraksha mala around the neck walks forward smiling, with long dark hair; the appearance cues are a long-haired, orange-robed sannyasi, so Swamiji (probable) leads this procession. Around him, men and women in white shirts, orange and brown robes, and a white-clad figure with a shaved head walk closely; an elderly woman in a purple sari and white shawl stands at left, a woman in a teal top at left, and a young man in a pink shirt at right. Banners with portrait photographs are mounted on boards behind the crowd and at right, and a white wall and trees frame the background. Roughly 40 people are visible.

A large night-time outdoor gathering under bright floodlights, with a dense crowd of many men, women and children in mostly white shirts and dhotis, saris and salwar in orange, pink, green and blue. Several elderly men have white hair and vibhuti marks on their foreheads. In the distance a lit stage with a backdrop displays a deity image, flanked by strings of lights, and a long single-storey building with a green roof stands at right. No individual can be identified as a person from this view.
