A woman in glasses at left, smiling, feeds a handful of rice-like food to a woman at right, who leans in to receive it; other women stand in a row behind them, some also holding food. Low mats with banana-leaf-style plates and small oil lamps lie on the floor at left, consistent with an annadan-style meal offering. No men or identifiable a person candidate is visible.2013-07-10 +1 copiesWomen and men in orange scarves serve a dinner buffet from steel pots with lids at a counter in an interior with white walls, green and pink floral painted pillars and wooden doors. A woman in a pale blue dress on the left holds a steel plate of food, while a curly-haired woman in a rust-coloured top and orange scarf on the right smiles beside a woman in white with a rudraksha mala serving rice. A framed photograph of a sannyasi in orange robes is visible in the background, but he is a depiction and no identity is claimed.2008-07-02Annadhan during Allahabad Kumbhamela 20132013-01-01 +1 copiesThree women in saffron-orange saris with rudraksha malas stand close together in a bright hall. The woman at left, wearing glasses and a vermilion forehead mark, pours or offers a golden-yellow substance into the cupped hands of the central woman, who holds it with her hands joined. The woman at right, with hair in a high bun, looks down toward the offering. Blurred figures in the background suggest a larger gathering, possibly a ritual or satsang setting.2018-04-04December 18 20162016-12-18
