July 14 20092009-07-14Outdoor procession on a dirt road beside a dry, tilled field and sparse trees. At centre, a man in a saffron-orange robe with a white flower garland and a rudraksha mala walks barefoot-style in orange sandals, smiling, under a large red and multicolour canopy umbrella held aloft on poles. Behind him, a woman in a yellow sari carries a decorated kalasha-like pot on a tray. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts, and women in saris, follow along the road, with a white van parked in the background. The scene suggests a ceremonial walk to a temple.2009-07-14July 14 20092009-07-14July 14 20092009-07-14Outdoor festival procession on a dusty road under a clear sky. Ceremonial umbrellas in red, blue and yellow with gold tassels are held above the procession. Behind him a man in a white shirt holds a tall wooden staff, and a woman in a white sari carries a brass tray of yellow flowers. Other devotees in white dhotis and shirts with rudraksha malas walk alongside, and a man in the foreground carries a red and gold ceremonial banner.2006-12-30 +1 copiesDecember 28 20062006-12-28July 14 20092009-07-14June 18 20122012-06-18A procession on a dirt road with many people in orange and white. In the centre, a man in orange robes wears a long white and red flower garland and a rudraksha mala, walking barefoot with his hands at his sides. Beside him, a man in orange robes holds a tall golden staff topped with a trident, and a woman in a white sari with an orange border carries a silver tray of yellow flowers and leaves. Other devotees in orange, white and yellow shawls and robes walk behind, with a yellow and red striped umbrella overhead and a white bus with a Nithyanandam sign in the background. Swamiji (probable) appears as the central figure, identified by long swept-back hair, an orange robe, a garland and a rudraksha mala; this is an appearance-based label only.2009-12-23September 03 20072007-09-03Outdoor procession on a dirt road with a dry, open landscape and construction equipment at left. Two large ceremonial parasols, one red and multicoloured with tassels and one white with red fringe and a decorative motif, are held overhead. A central figure in a saffron-orange robe wears a long white and orange flower garland and has long dark hair; this is a sannyasi with distinctive saffron and garland cues, consistent with the page's Swamiji reference, so described as Swamiji (probable) in a procession. Around him, men and women in white dhotis, kurtas and sarees walk, many wearing rudraksha malas. At right, a man in white with a red and gold embroidered shawl carries a glass vessel holding a green coconut or leafy plant decorated with yellow and red flowers. A woman in an orange saree stands at right edge.2006-12-29A procession on a dirt path with several umbrellas overhead, red with fringed edges and one multicoloured umbrella. At the centre, a person with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron robe and a long garland of white and multicoloured flowers, walking barefoot-looking in sandals. Around them, men and women wear white ritual clothes; a man on the right holds a woven tray of flowers and fruit, and a woman in white with a golden-bordered sari stands beside the centre figure. Shaded trees and a white building appear in the background.2006-12-28
