A photograph of a pair of seated statues in a temple shrine, dressed in orange and red cloth with a red velvet backdrop. The male figure wears a crown-like headdress, holds a trident-like staff in one raised hand and blesses with the other, with a rudraksha-style mala across his chest. The female figure sits beside him in an orange sari with a dark bun and a beaded necklace. Before them stands a kalasha-like offering vessel with yellow and red flower garlands, a brass lamp, a bell, a small silver pot and a brass vessel on a ceremonial platform. No living people are visible.

A night photograph of a temple shrine showing two large golden-faced statues seated on a stone pedestal before deep red velvet curtains. The male statue wears an orange turban and orange dhoti with red borders, holds ritual objects in raised hands, and has a mala around the neck; the female statue wears orange sari with red border, a necklace, and a dark updo. Between them sits a golden deity murti or linga-like form draped in orange cloth and decorated with a large garland of yellow and red flowers. Brass oil lamps and ritual vessels stand in front, and a smaller framed deity image with a flower garland appears at right. Carved white stone pillars frame the scene. These are statues, not living people.

A photograph of a shrine murti of a seated divine couple, a male figure on a golden throne with a female figure beside him, both in orange and maroon robes with rudraksha malas and gold-trimmed crowns. The male figure raises one hand in abhaya mudra and holds a trident-like staff; the female figure holds a gold-handled object. Garlands of yellow marigolds and red roses drape the throne, and a small brass oil lamp, a kalasha-style brass vessel, a silver pot and offering bowls sit in front. Dark red velvet drapes hang behind. This depicts a deity murti, not a living person.

The seated male figure wears an orange-saffron turban and dhoti-style wrap with maroon borders, holds a trident-like staff and makes a blessing gesture; a female figure in matching orange sari with maroon border sits beside him with a black bun and rudraksha malas. A gold multi-hooded serpent canopy stands behind the central figure. Red and yellow marigold garlands drape over a gold pillar-shaped object in the centre, and brass oil lamps, a kalasha pot, a bell and offering plates sit in the foreground on the pedestal.

The left statue wears an orange turban and orange robes with red borders and holds a sceptre-like object; the right statue wears orange robes, a crown-like headdress and a beaded necklace. Between them stands a silver Shiva-linga-like object adorned with a yellow and red marigold garland, with a kalasha-style brass vessel, brass lamps and a small bell in the foreground. A smaller gold deity murti decorated with a garland sits at the right edge.

Metal murti pair seated on a raised pedestal before a deep red velvet curtain: a larger seated figure in saffron and maroon garments with a turban-style headwear and a gold-toned crown-like headpiece, holding a trident-like staff in one raised hand, and beside him a smaller seated female-form figure in orange clothing with dark rudraksha-style beads. Both are draped in yellow and red marigold and rose garlands. A large gold throne-like back and gold ornamental base sit beneath them. In front on the altar stand brass oil lamps, a brass kalasha or pot, a brass vessel, a small decorated pot and flower offerings.

The left figure wears a red-and-gold turban and holds a trident-like staff; the right has a crown and jeweled necklaces. In front stands a gold-plated lingam wrapped with a coiled golden naga, decorated with yellow and purple marigold garlands. Below, a white marble statue of a seated saint in orange robes and a rudraksha mala raises one hand in blessing. White cloths, brass vessels and flower offerings sit on the altar. No living people are visible.

A photograph of a temple shrine with a golden arch and green silk backdrop, showing a large golden-faced deity statue in orange turban and red-orange dhoti holding a trident, beside a female deity statue with white and red garlands and a crown. In front, a dark stone linga or murti is draped with an orange cloth and wrapped in a gold band, garlanded with yellow flowers and red roses and rudraksha strands, with a small white-robed figure on a golden peetha before it. No living people are present.

A photograph of a temple shrine showing a pair of seated deity murtis, a male and female figure, set within an ornate gilded arch against a red curtain backdrop. The figures wear silver and jewelled crowns, earrings, layered jewelled necklaces and garlands of yellow and red flowers; the male figure holds a trident, and the female figure wears a white and cream sari with gold trim. In front of them stands a silver kalasha-like vessel and a silver-and-gold altar with garlands. At the base, a small sculpted figure in white with an orange shawl is seated before the shrine. Brass standing oil lamps flank the sides, and a small oil lamp burns at the bottom of the frame alongside offerings and bells.
