Photograph of an indoor stage event at night. Several men in plain white shirts and white dhotis stand and move across a dark blue curtain backdrop, one with bare feet. Behind them hangs a decorative strip with geometric blue, red and gold embroidery and gold fringe, and at right a red and orange printed banner. A man at right wears an orange shawl over white clothing and a rudraksha-style bead necklace. In the foreground, lower right, a figure in white sits on a white cushion, and a silver-framed object stands near the stage edge. Most wear white shirts or kurtas with white dhotis and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces, and several are barefoot. Behind them hangs a dark blue curtain with a red velvet drape above, a colourful striped garland edge at right, and a small gold deity murti on a stand at lower right. A tall-backed chair and a small television sit at the left edge against a pale block wall with a blue 'NO MOBILE' sign. The men appear to be devotees attending an ananda samajam gathering.2007-02-24A photograph of a row of young men in plain white shirts and dhotis standing indoors before a red curtain hanging from a wooden ceiling. Several wear blue lanyards with ID badges. The man at far left has his palms pressed together in anjali, with a rudraksha mala around his neck. Others stand with hands clasped in front, and one at right smiles. Behind them, a person in a yellow and white garment stands at the left edge near a white pillar. The scene resembles an ashramite gathering.2010-02-01July 07 20102010-07-07A photograph of a long line of men in plain white kurta and dhoti clothing standing in a row in a large hall, most barefoot. Several have small white badges or name tags on their chests and some wear rudraksha malas around their necks. In the foreground a man with a moustache and a gold wristwatch holds his hands together in front of his chest, while others stand with hands folded or clasped. Behind them hang bamboo framework and decorative yellow and multicoloured cloth banners, and a partial deity image is visible at the upper left. The people appear to be waiting in line for a session.2006-10-08June 22 20082008-06-22A photograph of a line of men standing indoors in a tented hall with yellow and patterned fabric hangings overhead. Foreground, a man in white dhoti and shirt with a cloth over his shoulder and a gold ring stands at left; next to him a man in a cream shirt and dark trousers. Several men in striped and plain shirts stand shoulder to shoulder in the middle. At right, an older man in white kurta with an ID badge stands beside a group. Behind, a woman in a white sari with a rudraksha-style necklace stands near a decorated altar draped with garlands and a lit lamp. Several men wear white kurtas and dhotis with rudraksha malas; one on the left wears a badge pinned to his shirt showing a photograph of a bearded man in a white turban. A large portrait of a smiling woman with long dark hair is partly visible on the left. Many of the men have arms folded, and the scene appears to be a gathering of ordained healers at an ashram event. Blue-grey and white shirts also appear among the group.2006-10-08July 22 20132013-07-22Indoor event photo of a row of men in white shirts and white dhotis standing in front of an orange and beige patterned wall, with a fire extinguisher, hanging string lights and large black speakers at left. Several men wear thin dark rudraksha-style necklaces; one older man at centre-right raises a hand to his face. Seated and standing devotees in white occupy the foreground and lower edge, including a woman with gold earrings at lower left. The white clothing suggests a ritual or satsang setting, but no clear figure matching the page's a person description is distinguishable by appearance, so no identification is made.2007-01-12December 17 20072007-12-17
