A group of men in white shirts and white dhotis stand near a yellow-and-black auto-rickshaw, while a boy in a white t-shirt and grey shorts walks in the foreground. Several vehicles are parked: a silver SUV, a white pickup and a blue minibus. A group of about ten people stand in loose clusters, some in white dhotis and shirts, others in lungis and casual clothes, with a man on a motorcycle and a bicycle nearby. Behind them rise dry brown hills under a cloudy sky, with a leafy tree in the middle ground.2008-07-29Outdoor photograph of a bare red-earth site with scattered tree cover and a silver SUV parked at right. Under a thatched palm-leaf shelter on bamboo poles, a group of men stand and sit on blue, orange and beige plastic chairs. Most wear white shirts and white dhotis; one standing figure in the centre-left wears an orange-saffron robe and another at left wears a dark shirt. A black bicycle lies on the ground at lower left, and a stack of cut timber and bamboo frames appear in the background.2008-04-05July 29 20082008-07-29Photograph of a wide, dusty open dirt field under a hazy blue sky, with a tall leafy tree at centre and scattered smaller trees along the horizon. In the foreground a barefoot man in a checked shirt and brown trousers walks left, and a woman in a maroon and brown sari walks toward the viewer. Smaller figures in white and blue-green saris stand in the middle distance, and a few people in white clothes are scattered across the field near parked cars and a white vehicle. Earth mounds and low structures appear at the far left.2006-12-19An outdoor photograph of a dusty open ground in a rural village setting, with scattered trash, dry scrub and a few trees. Several parked cars, including white and silver sedans and a white van, sit on the lot, with a row of motorcycles parked further back. A tall red-orange flag stands at the right edge near a small shrine-like structure with a red top. Four or five people walk across the ground, mostly in white shirts and dark trousers, one woman in a pink sari. A low concrete wall and modest houses with tiled roofs line the background under a partly cloudy sky.2007-03-03A dusty, littered open ground on the edge of a village with scattered rubbish, sparse scrub and trees, and low hills behind. Several parked cars, a white van and motorbikes sit along the lot. A group of people in white clothes stands and walks on the left, while a woman in an orange sari and a second woman in white walk across the foreground path. A small green flag flutters at the top edge, and a low brick wall with houses lies to the right.2007-03-03
