A young man with long, loose dark hair and an orange-saffron robe holds a coconut shell with a lit flame in his right hand, offering puja beside a large blue diesel generator with a silver exhaust pipe and a red-tipped pink flower placed on its metal base. Behind him stand other people in orange and white robes, one with a shaved head and tilak-marked forehead, and another man in white looks on through a barred window. The wall is whitewashed and the doorway opens onto green foliage.2004-11-25A photograph inside a small whitewashed room where a blue diesel generator stands beside a wall with a metal exhaust pipe. A man in a long-sleeved checked shirt on the left presses his palms together in namaskar. In the foreground on the right, a long-haired man in a saffron-orange shawl and dhoti holds a brass bell in one hand and a brass lamp with a lit flame in the other, performing a puja before the generator. A red flower lies on the generator housing. Behind him, other devotees in white dhotis and saffron clothing stand with hands folded near a window with red frames and banana leaves outside. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), shown in the foreground performing the puja with a long, swept-back hair, saffron shawl and brass bell and lamp.2004-11-25November 25 20042004-11-25November 25 20042004-11-25November 25 20042004-11-25November 25 20042004-11-25A photograph in a small whitewashed room beside a blue diesel generator set with exhaust pipe and a red fuel hose. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes, a bare-chested figure with ritual adornments, holds a brass oil lamp burning with flame in one hand and a brass handbell in the other, performing a puja to the generator; a pink hibiscus flower lies on the blue generator housing. Several onlookers stand nearby, one man in a checked shirt and others in white clothes with palms pressed together in namaste, and a figure in white near the doorway. Barred windows and banana leaves appear outside.2004-11-25September 20 20062006-09-20November 11 20172017-11-11Photo of a long-haired man seen from behind and in profile, wearing a rust-orange shawl with a gold border draped over bare shoulders, with a gold hoop earring and white forehead marking. He faces left toward a white-robed figure at the left edge. Behind him stands a red draped backdrop, a white tower cooler, and a leopard-print cloth lower right. The setting suggests a satsang gathering. Appearance cues of long swept hair, orange shawl and gold border are present, but the face is turned and partly hidden, so identity is uncertain.2012-07-06November 21 20092009-11-21September 19 20062006-09-19
