Photograph of a temple shrine lit by a ring of small oil lamps arranged in concentric circles around a central deity murti decorated with a white jasmine garland. A partial view of a person's hand with rings and bangles reaches in from the left edge. Hanging brass lamps with chains flank the shrine against a white tiled wall, and a brass lamp shaped like a peacock with a lit wick stands at right. No people are fully visible, so the scene shows a lamp-lit aarti or puja setting.2018-04-29Temple ritual photo at night: a bare-torso priest in a white dhoti with a yellow-trimmed cloth waves a lit lamp toward a bronze deity murti set in an arched shrine niche decorated with yellow and white flower garlands. Several brass oil lamps burn, including a tall peacock-shaped lamp on the right and a hanging lamp on a chain. A large circular lamp with many lit wicks glows behind the shrine, against white tiled walls.2018-04-29February 17 20152015-02-17 +1 copiesA close photograph of a hand holding a brass aarti lamp with a wide circular tray and a central wick cup, flames burning around its edge and smoke rising. The background is dim and out of focus.2012-07-11April 24 20182018-04-24 +1 copiesDecember 07 20162016-12-07Close photo of a hand holding a small brass oil lamp (deepam) with a lit flame on a brass stand. Warm blurred background in red and orange tones, with an out-of-focus figure in white at the left edge. No faces visible; the setting appears to be an evening ritual or satsang lamp offering.2016-07-15Close photograph of a brass oil lamp with a flame held aloft in a man's hand, seen from behind at left; the wrist wears a red thread and a white ash mark is visible on the arm. Behind the lamp, gold-toned temple decor, ornate lamps and a shrine with deity murti or decorated figures are blurred. Only the hand and arm of one physical person are visible.2017-02-01A photograph in a dark interior showing a brass multi-wick oil lamp with several lit flames held up in the foreground. Warm glowing flames contrast with the shadowy background, and blurred points of light suggest more lamps nearby. A glimpse of a red-orange cloth and an ornate gold-toned object appears at the upper right. The lamp appears to be part of a ritual, possibly aarti. No people are clearly visible apart from a partial arm holding the lamp.2016-12-06
