A photograph of a decorated Shiva lingam in a ritual setting. A brass pot topped with a coconut and mango leaves stands behind the lingam. The lingam is draped in a dark green and gold jeweled ornament with red and green stones, gold beaded chains and paisley-shaped motifs, and wrapped with white jasmine garlands. A red rose sits at its base on a white cloth beside a patterned rug. No people are visible.2016-10-29Close view of a decorated coconut dressed as a deity figure, covered in red and white roses, white jasmine garlands and green leaves. It wears an ornate silver-and-jewel crown with red and green stones, a silver tripundra-style forehead band with a red stone, and jewelled silver necklaces and sashes in front of a white cloth. Yellow marigold garlands sit at the lower left. The background is blurred, showing a reddish wall and a few out-of-focus figures or fabrics at the top right; no clear physical person is visible. This appears to be a festival deity dressing or alankaram.2013-07-17March 16 20202020-03-16 +2 copiesMay 31 20182018-05-31 +1 copiesNovember 08 20142014-11-08 +1 copiesNovember 22 20152015-11-22 +1 copiesA decorated brass kalasha pot with a mango-leaf and coconut-fibre top stands at the centre, draped with layered gold and pearl necklaces, a red rose garland and white flower garlands. Flanking it are two smaller pots draped in maroon and gold fabric with pearl embellishments, topped with peacock-feather motifs and mango leaves. Behind them hang sequined and beaded silver-and-red drapes over gold cloth, and a blue brocade cloth lies beneath. No people are visible; the scene shows an altar-style decoration for a ceremony.2016-11-06September 15 20142014-09-15December 22 20162016-12-22December 19 20162016-12-19
