A garland of beads and a gold necklace hang on the chest, and red bangles are on the wrists; a bindi is on the forehead. The person speaks into a microphone on a stand, smiling and gesturing with one hand. Behind, carved wooden panels are lit by rows of small yellow lamps, and a golden staff with a finial stands to the left on a red carpet. Appearance-based label: the figure seated on the throne wears saffron/orange clothing, a rudraksha-style mala and gold necklace, but the face and hair are not sufficiently distinctive to confirm identity, so this is an unconfirmed candidate.2016-04-17A seated speaker on an ornate gilded throne with a red velvet cushion, speaking into a microphone on a stand. He wears a saffron-orange robe, a long rudraksha mala across the chest, a ceremonial gold necklace and gold earrings, and a rudraksha-bead armlet, with hands open in a gesture of explanation. The carved gold backrest and a jali-patterned wooden screen frame the stage. The speaker has long dark hair and a clear forehead mark; the visible cues are consistent with the a person candidate, but the appearance is not certain enough to confirm.2016-04-17A photograph of a man seated cross-legged on an ornate gilded throne with a red cushioned seat and a red-and-black tiger-striped mat, speaking into a microphone on a stand. He raises his right hand in a blessing gesture and wears a saffron-orange dhoti and draped robe, a rudraksha mala, a long ceremonial gold-bead necklace and red beaded bracelets. A tall gold-tipped staff stands to the left against a carved wooden lattice wall with gold accents, and a fringed canopy hangs above. Appearance-based candidate: a person, seated on the throne as the speaker.2016-04-17April 21 20162016-04-21April 21 20162016-04-21January 15 20132013-01-15A man seated on an ornate gilded throne with red cushions on a red-carpeted stage, beneath a red and gold canopy umbrella.
