She has a red bindi, a small nose stud, long ornate chandelier earrings, a crystal-studded necklace, and curled black hair decorated with a jeweled hair ornament. Her gaze is turned to the side. A faint orange smear is visible on her cheek. The background is a blurred teal wall with another person partially visible at left.2013-09-15A photograph of several women gathered outdoors at night, apparently at an evening devotional or ceremonial gathering. In the foreground a young woman in a green and gold brocade sari with a jewelled hair ornament, long beaded jewellery and bangles smiles toward a man seen from behind in a dark blue and gold-bordered garment. Beside her a woman in glasses wears a red and white floral shawl with a red bindi. Behind them older women in teal, green and maroon saris, one with a vermilion mark on her forehead, look on, and a woman in white with glasses stands at upper right. The scene is dim with warm light.2013-09-15September 16 20132013-09-16Close-up photo of a smiling woman in a teal and gold brocade sari, wearing a thick red and pink rose garland with yellow marigold accents, long curled dark hair with a jewelled hair ornament, a red bindi, diamanté drop earrings, a layered white stone necklace and a gold chain.
