In the centre, a bearded man with long swept-back hair wears a saffron-orange robe, a pink crystal and rudraksha mala, and a long-haired ceremonial presence; he appears to be the a person, identified by long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha malas, though the image is uncertain. Beside him, a man in a brown-and-gold garment wears heavy gold coin-like ceremonial necklaces, a rudraksha mala and a white-and-red floral garland. To the right, an elderly bald priest with white vibhuti markings and rudraksha band wears a white-and-red garland and gold ornaments. A central figure in the middle wears an orange-and-gold dhoti and shawl, a long gold pendant necklace and a white flower garland across his head. Around him, several men in saffron-orange robes with gold chains walk and smile, one holding a small object in his hand. Men in white dhotis and a woman in a green sari stand among the crowd, and devotees in the background look on. Painted deity figures are visible on the upper walls. The central figure shows distinctive ceremonial adornments, but his appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity, so he is described by role as a ceremonially garlanded participant.2012-05-07August 02 20082008-08-02Photograph of a group walking barefoot through a stone temple doorway, with a crowd behind them. The central figure wears a plain saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, long dark hair, a white forehead mark with a red dot, and a heavy gold ceremonial necklace. Flanking him are men in orange and maroon-bordered garments with gold necklaces, one holding a folded pink cloth. On the right, a shaved-headed man in white ritual clothes with a rudraksha mala and white forehead marks speaks. Behind them a bespectacled man in orange wears a gold necklace. The stone wall, wooden door and crowd suggest a temple entrance.2010-01-08June 05 20122012-06-05April 11 20122012-04-11 +1 copies
