Indoor stage event with orange-clad figures. In the foreground, a shaved-headed man in orange robes holds a silver tray with a small silver lamp or vessel and flowers, facing a figure in orange with long dark hair who bends forward with head lowered toward the tray. A white ornate arch frames a blue backdrop, and a seated figure in orange sits on a red-carpeted dais at left, partly visible, with a camera operator in black beside him. A small monitor on the red carpet shows the seated figure. Orange and yellow marigold garlands hang across the top, and a dark drape fills the background.2010-01-28January 28 20102010-01-28A photograph of two men in saffron-orange robes on a stage with dark blue draped curtains and yellow flowers at the edge. The man on the left, shaved-headed with a red tilak on his forehead, holds a silver tray with a small golden deity murti or kalasha-like object, flowers and white petals. The man on the right, with long dark swept-back hair and wrapped in orange cloth, bows his head forward and touches the tray with his hand in reverence, as in a padapuja or darshan gesture. The bowing figure shows distinctive long hair and saffron clothing, but his identity cannot be confirmed from appearance, so he is described by role only.2010-01-28December 31 20092009-12-31December 30 20072007-12-30January 28 20102010-01-28September 24 20112011-09-24 +1 copiesPhotograph of a stage event on a red carpet beneath a white ornate arch with a blue backdrop and marigold garland trim. A seated figure in orange robes sits on a raised throne-like seat with a red cushion, while a bald man in orange stands at a blue-draped altar holding a ritual object. Several monks in orange sit on the floor at left, a camera operator stands beside the stage, and in the foreground a bald monk in orange sits with his back to the camera facing a TV screen showing a figure in orange. The seated figure's face is not clearly visible enough to confirm identity, so the orange-robed seated figure is treated as an uncertain candidate.2010-01-28Outdoor festival tent with white fabric canopy and red carpet during a ceremony. A figure in saffron-orange robes with a white flower garland receives a gift wrapped in orange cloth from a smiling person in orange robes and an orange turban. Another man in orange-brown dhoti and shawl with a beaded necklace holds a silver tray at right. Seated figures in orange wear line gilded thrones with red cushions at left, and uniformed police stand along the tent edge at right. A silver elephant figurine and brass vessels sit on the red carpet near fruit offerings. The orange-turbaned figure with long hair appears to be a person, seen in person and smiling while accepting the gift.2007-12-30A stage event under a white tent with a red-draped platform. Seated in front of a golden ornate shrine, a row of saffron-robed sannyasis sits on golden chairs and a red bench, several holding open books. A standing man in a red-brown dhoti and saffron-red turban with a multicolored garland holds a book and gestures toward the seated group. Behind them, a golden ornate throne draped with a large floral garland, and a seated deity murti decorated with garlands on the left. A seated man in a saffron-orange robe with long hair, centre, is among the sannyasis; a candidate who fits the a person cues cannot be confirmed from appearance alone, so identity remains uncertain. Stage monitors in the foreground.2015-01-13January 30 20102010-01-30January 28 20102010-01-28
