In the foreground a man in an orange saffron robe with an orange turban, rudraksha mala beads, and sandals walks with a wooden staff and looks to the side. Behind him a man in white clothing and an orange shawl carries a red-and-white checkered bag and a bundle of wooden poles over his shoulder. Another person in white walks near a cream-colored building with a red-trimmed roof, and a palm frond frames the top of the frame. Red-edged garden beds, shrubs and trees line the path.July 03 20072007-07-03A barefoot man in saffron-orange robes with a maroon border walks along a dirt path beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. He wears a long rudraksha mala across his chest and a red tilak on his forehead, looking downward. A low curved stone bench lines the path, with sandy mounds and a small shrine-like structure visible behind. Another person stands at the far right edge in white. The cues here are a rudraksha mala and saffron robes but the face and presentation are not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so the figure is described by role as a sannyasi.2011-03-05A standing man in saffron-orange robes and a matching orange turban with a red mark on his forehead stands on a large grey boulder outdoors. He holds a tall, twisted wooden staff in his right hand and a dark metal water pot or kamandalu in his left. A long rudraksha mala hangs across his chest over the orange shawl draped over his shoulder. He has long dark hair, eyes closed, and a calm expression. Behind him are palm trees, leafy green trees and rocks in dappled sunlight.2006-10-10A photograph of a figure in saffron-orange robes walking away from the camera across a dusty open ground.
