At the centre stands an orange-painted deity murti with a red and orange marigold garland, set before a white arched niche and a raised platform with orange offerings. A woman in a pink and white sari stands at the murti's base, and a young boy in a yellow shirt stands beside it. Devotees in white and pale clothes sit on the ground in the foreground, viewed from behind, including a woman in a blue patterned top. A woman in a blue top stands at the right edge. Men and women in white garments line the left side. The scene appears to be a ritual gathering, with some seated participants and others standing near the shrine.2010-07-03 +1 copiesOutdoor photo of a devotional gathering beneath large banyan trees at a shrine. At the left-centre, a deity murti stands in an arched white frame, adorned with a marigold garland and dark marks, with a red-painted stone pedestal in front. Several people in plain white garments stand and sit on a dark stone platform; a man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands at the front with hands folded, a woman in a red-and-orange sari stands at the left, and a woman in a white sari holds a yellow paper in the background. Other devotees, including children and a seated woman in a pink sari, watch or sit near the water-marked floor. Potted and stone-edged planters line the ground, and a green tank sits at the right.2010-07-03 +1 copiesJuly 20 20052005-07-20July 22 20062006-07-22Outdoor satsang beneath a large spreading banyan tree with thick aerial roots. Dozens of devotees sit cross-legged on colourful striped mats and cloths, mostly in white clothing, with some in orange and a few in red or light blue. Near the front, a seated figure in orange robes sits before a small shrine with a carved white arched frame enclosing a deity murti and a stone or earthen mound, with offerings and marigold-like garlands. A bald man in white sits in the foreground, and a woman in an orange top with a long braid faces the shrine. The scene is lush with green foliage around the gathering.2005-12-18 +2 copiesOutdoor satsang under large banyan trees. A seated figure sits on a red and gold throne in front of a shrine with a red-clad deity murti garlanded with marigold and multicolour flower strings, backed by an orange curtain and an ornate white arch. The seated figure wears saffron-orange garments and a red-brown shawl, with one hand raised near the face. Around 14 devotees sit on mats on the ground facing the throne: men in white kurtas with orange shawls, women in white and in green and purple saris, and a man in a blue t-shirt in the foreground. A fan stands at the right edge and red cloths lie on the ground by the throne.2013-10-17Outdoor photo of a seated audience of roughly two dozen people in white and light clothing gathered on sandy ground beneath a large banyan tree with spreading aerial roots. At the centre-right, a figure in orange robes sits cross-legged on a white-draped raised platform with a microphone, facing the crowd. Beside the platform stands a dark stone deity murti in orange cloth with a garland, set within a carved arch and a rocky red-and-grey base, with a small orange-clad figure and an offering plate nearby. Some attendees wear white, others pink, red and blue, and a few wear garlands. A white easel stands at left among the trees.2005-12-18 +2 copiesOutdoor satsang beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. A man in white shirt and white trousers stands on a raised white-cloth platform reading from a paper, facing a seated audience of about thirty devotees dressed mostly in white, with a few in orange and teal. On the right, a black stone deity murti with garland and orange cloth stands under a carved stone arch on a rocky base, beside a small orange-clad figure with flower garland. Sandy ground, lush trees behind. No figure on the platform is clearly identifiable as a person by appearance, so the speaker is described by role only.2005-12-18
