Exterior view of a South Indian temple complex under an overcast sky, with two tall ornately carved gopurams (gateway towers) covered in sculpted deity and figure reliefs. A white and red-striped wall runs along the front, a small pavilion with white pillars stands to the right, and palm trees frame the scene. Puddles of rainwater cover the empty paved courtyard. A blue signboard with Tamil lettering is fixed to the wall at left, and a stone bull (nandi) sits on the roof of the building on the left. No people are visible.

Exterior of a South Indian temple complex under a partly cloudy sky. Two tall gopurams, ornately sculpted with painted deity figures in blue, green and cream, rise above palm trees. In the foreground, a silver-grey boxy SUV is parked on a paved courtyard beside white-and-red striped compound walls. A motorcyclist rides past, and a person in a red garment walks near the wall. Yellow barricades and red MP Paints banners stand along the courtyard edge, with overhead power lines crossing the scene.

A photograph of a large, colourfully painted gopuram, the tiered entrance tower of a South Indian Hindu temple, rising above a low gateway and a grey-roofed compound. Its many tiers are crowded with painted sculpted figures in red, green, blue and yellow. In the foreground a silver minivan is parked beside a barred gate, and several people in red, pink and white clothing walk along the street and a red-and-white striped wall. Trees and a wooded hill appear behind the temple under a pale blue sky.
