In the foreground a pale yellow-cream mandapa with stone pillars sits behind a steel grille fence edged with red-and-white painted kerb stones. Above it rises a tall, colourful gopuram (temple tower) covered in tiered sculptures of deities and figures painted in blue, green, red, yellow and gold, topped by golden kalasha finials under a clear blue sky. Inside the grille, faint figures stand in the shaded hall. A utility pole stands beside the tower. No identifiable a person figure is visible, and the people inside the hall are too indistinct to count reliably.2012-08-20A dusty open ground with a large spreading banyan tree on the left and a rough wooden stake fence on the right.
