A barefoot attendant in orange cloth carries a steel kettle and pours along the line. Several seated men wear orange turbans and orange garments; one at right holds an orange cloth and a black umbrella. Coloured umbrellas shade the courtyard, and a white arcaded building with balustrades forms the background. The scene suggests a bandara or annadan at a Kumbh camp.2015-09-11 +1 copiesAnnadhan in 20062006-01-01 +1 copiesJune 04 20062006-06-04September 11 20152015-09-11A courtyard scene at an ashram, with a group of saffron-robed sannyasis and devotees standing and walking on a concrete ground. Near the centre, a bald man in a pale salmon-pink shawl and dhoti stands facing a bearded man in a deep orange robe with a yellow-gold mala. To the right, a bearded man in a white kurta wears a green shawl and orange-saffron robe with a saffron head covering, while a bearded sannyasi in orange stands nearby. On the left, a woman in orange robes walks beside monks in orange. Behind them is a white wall with open red doors, a brown wooden door on a small red building, and a pile of dry branches on the ground in the foreground.2009-12-30June 04 20062006-06-04May 29 20062006-05-29A courtyard meal service in an ashram setting. Several people in saffron-orange clothing stand beside a steel food counter with metal serving pots and trays of food. A man in the foreground wearing an orange shawl and rudraksha-style beads reaches toward the food, while a woman in a white sari with orange shawl stands at the left. Men in dark green uniforms serve from the counter. Behind them are a white building with a balcony, a blue-roofed open shelter and trees. Devotees in white dhotis and orange garments queue for food. Several people are visible, including partially visible figures at the edges.2005-05-25A photograph of a group of devotees in saffron-orange shawls gathered on a paved path beneath large shade trees before a white minibus. A tall, long-haired figure with a bare upper body and wrapped orange cloth stands centre-left holding a long wooden staff, appearing to be a sannyasi in ascetic dress. Others wear orange wraps over white or cream clothing, and a woman in a white dress stands near the centre. A man in a blue shirt stands at right, and a woman in an orange shawl bends forward at lower right. A pile of sand and a building are visible behind them.2004-06-16November 12 20082008-11-12
