A home shrine photographed at night. In the background, a printed portrait of a bearded man wearing an orange-red turban, a red shawl, and layered gold and beaded necklaces sits on a blue cloth with a red cushion; the portrait is a depiction on paper, not a physical person. In the foreground, polished brass figures of deities stand on a brass tray with a lit oil lamp and scattered pink flower petals. A small brass figure on the left has raised hands, and a taller brass figure on the right wears a crown and holds a raised hand. The scene shows an abhishekam setting in a home temple with an oil lamp.2020-11-17Indoor shrine photograph. In front, three bronze deity murtis (a small figure, a central standing deity and a female figure) stand on a silver tray filled with water, as for abhishekam. Two steel bowls of sliced fruit and pink flowers sit on a gold-patterned red cloth, and a small red flag stands at right beside a white sign reading KAIL... GEN... The printed image is a depiction, not a person physically present, and the bronze figures are statues.2024-06-30Golden metal murti figures stand on a shallow tray of water scattered with yellow marigolds and pink roses during an abhishekam. The central four-armed deity murti holds a trident-like weapon and a ritual object, with a red tilak on its forehead. To its left stands a smaller male murti with a raised hand, and to its right a female murti in a red and gold embroidered sari with a red kumkum mark. Behind them, a printed portrait of a man in orange robes, red shawl and beaded necklaces sits on a blue patterned cloth, but the page does not say Swamiji is present and the portrait is only a depiction. No people are visible in the scene.2020-11-17KAILASA DHUMBARAI, NEPAL on 3/29/20212021-03-29KAILASA DHUMBARAI, NEPAL on 5/24/20212021-05-24A home shrine photograph with a large printed portrait of a smiling man with a full beard and moustache, wearing an orange-red turban with a gold ornament, gold jewellery and an orange-red garment, one hand raised in blessing.
