Pink flower petals lie on the stage. The scene appears to be a theatrical dramatisation rather than a live ritual.2018-04-14September 04 20132013-09-04 +1 copiesApril 23 20132013-04-23 +2 copiesJune 15 20092009-06-15A small life-size figure of a smiling man stands on a carved stone pedestal, raising one hand in blessing. He wears a gold-and-maroon patterned turban with a red tilak, a yellow shawl draped over a gold-and-maroon patterned garment, and a multicoloured jewelled necklace. Long dark hair falls down his back. Behind him are pink and gold drapes, a white cloth with a red border, and a row of wooden beads. A brass oil lamp stands at right on a green cloth. The figure appears to be a statue or doll, not a living person.2016-09-04 +1 copiesDecember 16 20162016-12-16December 29 20092009-12-29October 06 20162016-10-06A woman in a yellow and navy silk sari with gold border kneels on a green stage, bending forward with her palms pressed together in greeting while a small girl in a brown and gold checked dress and red shoes reaches toward her.
