A shaved-headed man stands bare-chested with a saffron-orange dhoti and a gold-banded orange shawl, holding a lit oil lamp or camphor flame toward a deity murti draped in red flower garlands within a golden canopied shrine. Brass kalasha pots and small lamps line the altar, and rose petals scatter the floor.
