Outdoor photograph beneath a dense canopy of banyan trees with aerial roots. A young shirtless priest in an orange-red dhoti and matching shawl raises a lit oil lamp (aarti) high toward a dark stone deity murti set in a yellow-lined arched niche, the murti draped with a red cloth and white-and-red garlands. Around him devotees in white and cream traditional dress with gold borders stand with palms pressed together in prayer or hold cameras and phones. A woman in an orange sari and a few others with rudraksha-style beaded necklaces stand nearby, and a small boy in white with a bead necklace stands at the lower right. Stone paving and tree trunks frame the scene.

Outdoor photograph of a devotional gathering beneath large banyan trees on a brick-paved courtyard. In the foreground, a young shirtless boy in an orange dhoti and orange shawl, with a rudraksha mala, raises a brass lamp or vessel high with one arm. Around him, adults in white and cream traditional dress stand with palms pressed together in anjali. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti holds a small bell; a woman in white with a red-and-gold border and a Western-looking older woman with gray hair join the prayer line. A younger boy in white dhoti and rudraksha beads stands near the front. Several people in the background also hold hands folded in prayer. Mostly all-white attire with gold borders suggests an aarti or puja setting. Approximately 20 people are visible.
