A photograph of a ritual or satsang gathering indoors. In the foreground a man in a white dhoti with a gold-bordered shawl and rudraksha malas holds a small brass vessel aloft with his right hand. Beside him, a shaven-headed man in an orange-saffron robe with a thick rudraksha mala and a gold armband sits with his arm extended, gazing forward. Behind them rows of children in maroon tunics with yellow trim sit on mats, some with white tilak marks on their foreheads. The setting is a plain light-coloured hall with a yellow mat on the floor.

Several seated devotees perform a ritual with oil lamps during worship. In the centre, a shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha mala holds a lit oil lamp, with white tripundra marks on his forehead and arms. Beside him, another man in orange with a dark bead mala holds a lamp. Behind them, young boys in maroon and gold-bordered cloths and beaded necklaces sit, some holding lamps. Brass vessels, flowers and offerings lie on a low table. No candidate is visibly identifiable as a person from appearance; these are devotees and priests.

A photograph of a shaved-headed priest seated cross-legged on a striped mat, bare-chested, wearing a rust-brown dhoti with a gold border, a long rudraksha mala with a pendant, and a dark beaded mala around the upper arms. He holds a small brass bell and raises one hand with an oil lamp flame toward a seated group of devotees in orange and saffron robes, many bare-chested with rudraksha malas. Brass plates, a bowl of offerings and an oil lamp sit before him, with an orange bag on the left. Behind them the room is softly blurred with more seated participants. Several people are in view, and the scene appears to be a puja or ritual gathering.

Several men in saffron and rust-orange robes sit cross-legged in a row on a white floor, many with white and yellow tripundra markings on their foreheads and arms. One man in the centre with a shaved head wears a rudraksha mala and a dark red-brown shawl with gold border, holding incense or a ritual item. At right, a man with long swept-back hair, a rudraksha mala and white-and-gold dhoti-style cloth holds a small object in his hands. Brass vessels, a tray with flowers and oil lamps sit on a cloth in front. Red curtains and framed pictures hang on the wall behind.

A seated group of devotees performs an evening ritual with lit oil lamps. Several men in saffron-orange robes with gold necklaces and rudraksha malas hold up small flames, while one bald man with white vibhuti on his forehead, glasses and a gold chain raises a lamp in the foreground. Behind them, men in white dhotis sit near drums and a red cloth, and a boy in black with a white forehead mark watches. The setting suggests an evening satsang or aarti with lamps.
