Beside him a bare-chested man in white dhoti with an orange shawl and gold necklaces holds a metal bowl, and seated devotees in white and orange sit on a patterned floor. Behind them a backdrop shows a deity murti with a trident beside a decorated chair, and a stage camera and tripod stand at right.2012-12-28A seated man in an orange-saffron robe with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi, a rudraksha mala and gold necklaces arranges a black cloth over a row of small brass deity figures on a wooden puja tray, with a silver-framed throne behind him. Several seated devotees in white and orange shawls sit in the background, one with a white forehead mark and a yellow mala, and a younger man in a white dhoti and orange shawl sits at the left edge beside the tray. The hair, saffron robe and ornate necklaces are appearance cues consistent with the page's a person label, so this is a probable match, though the face is not used for identification.2012-12-26A seated man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, wearing multiple rudraksha malas, a white pearl mala and gold necklace with a red tilak, arranges small silver deity murtis on a low table during a puja. Beside him sits a younger man in white with a gold garland and a blue cloth in hand. Behind them, a seated audience of devotees in white with saffron-orange shawls fills the hall, and an ornate silver throne with a heart-shaped carved panel stands at right. A large screen is visible at top right.2012-12-26December 16 20122012-12-16A photograph of a padapuja-style devotional ceremony in an ornate hall. On the right, a long-haired figure in saffron-brown garments with a pink-and-white flower garland and bangles sits on a carved wooden throne beside a golden lion sculpture; his foot is being offered a plate of flowers and fruit. Seated on the floor before him, devotees in white and orange-saffron clothes with orange shawls and rudraksha malas hold brass offering plates, bowls and oil lamps on a leopard-print cloth. Behind them stands a golden deity murti and a decorated backdrop with a banner. A dark monitor and a projection screen sit at left, with more seated devotees in white behind.2012-12-21May 26 20152015-05-26Indoor ritual in a temple-like hall with purple drapery and a golden throne-style seat with red cushions. Several people in saffron-orange robes sit on the floor facing the altar, many with shaved heads or long hair, some wearing rudraksha malas. A standing man on the right, with curly shoulder-length hair and saffron cloth, holds a brass bell and a lit oil lamp over a tray near brass pots of flowers and mango leaves. Golden deity statues, including a dancing figure with a flute and a standing figure, decorate the altar, and incense smoke rises. A visible kalasha-style and padapuja-style offering arrangement with yellow flowers and petals sits on the floor. The lamp and bell suggest an aarti or puja.2006-08-22November 14 20102010-11-14A photograph of a padapuja-style ritual in a hall with a painted temple backdrop showing deity murtis and a striped banner.
