Outdoor photo beneath a large banyan tree with many aerial roots. A dense crowd of devotees, mostly in white clothing with some in colourful saris and kurtas, stands in a semicircle facing a raised platform on the right. A woman in a pink sari stands at the platform's edge near an offering area with orange-red flower garlands and a kalasha-like setup, while other people stand with hands joined in prayer. A deity murti sits on the right side under a green cloth. The setting is a tree-shaded ritual ground during a paduka puja or darshan-style gathering.2011-11-21November 21 20112011-11-21Outdoor photograph of a crowd gathered beneath a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots.
