November 20 20112011-11-20A photograph of a ceremonial stage set with a golden throne draped with a red cushion and garlanded with yellow and red flowers. A seated figure in orange robes and an orange turban sits on the throne, with a large framed portrait behind him labelled "Bhagavan Nithyananda" on the backdrop. Two women in saffron and red saris sit cross-legged on the left, one with palms pressed together in prayer, and a man in a white shirt sits near a brass oil lamp. A woman in a green sari kneels facing the throne, and a white-clad older man kneels before the dais on the right. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha-style brass vessel and a potted plant are arranged on the floor. The scene appears to be a satsang or ritual gathering.2011-11-06A seated man with long dark hair, wearing an orange and maroon sash, rudraksha mala and gold necklaces, sits on an ornate gold and red velvet throne with a gold lion-shaped armrest, speaking to a small seated audience.
