Indoor photograph of a group seated on a striped blue, green and orange floor mat in a plain room with pale walls, a wooden door on the left and framed pictures on the wall. In the foreground an elderly man in white shirt and white dhoti, with a tilak on his forehead and a rudraksha-style mala, sits cross-legged chanting with beads in his hands. Beside him a young woman in a pink top and white shawl holds a mala and sits in meditation. On the right an older woman in a black sari and a woman in a blue sari hold malas. Several children and other adults sit behind them, some with hands folded, some on plastic chairs near the wall. No one is identifiable as a person from the visible cues, so the figures are described by role and dress only.
