Outdoor scene of a stone-stepped amphitheatre under a cloudy sky. A man in an orange saffron robe walks down the grey stone steps, while a second orange-clad figure stands beside a tree at right. At left, a woman in a white sari with yellow border stands on the steps. Stone seating rises in curved tiers behind them.2009-07-01A photograph of a sannyasi standing barefoot on a tiered stone amphitheatre or step terrace under a tree. He wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over one shoulder and wrapped around the body, with his hands near his waist, and has long dark hair. A second person in orange clothing is partly visible at the right edge beside the tree trunk. Cloudy sky and a small sapling are visible.2009-07-01July 01 20092009-07-01Photo of a stone stairway outdoors beneath a leafy tree, with several people in ritual dress. In the centre, a barefoot young man in a bright orange robe walks down the steps. To the left, a man in a white kurta and white dhoti stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Behind the centre figure, another person in an orange robe holds a small object. On the right, women wear white sarees with orange shawls and gold borders, and a few onlookers stand at the top of the steps. A stone wall lines the left side.2009-07-01A photograph of a single man in a saffron-orange dhoti and draped shawl walking down tiered stone steps outdoors. He has short dark hair and bare arms, and a leafy tree with a white pipe running up its trunk stands at right under a pale sky. A small sapling grows beside the steps. Short-haired, saffron-clad sannyasi figure; appearance does not establish the a person candidate, so identity is unsure.2009-07-01July 01 20092009-07-01Outdoor photo of a red-stone staircase lined with small black shivalinga-style stone pillars and brass vessels. A man in an orange-brown dhoti and shawl stands at the top, hands joined at chest, wearing a long white and pink flower garland and rudraksha-style beads; he has long swept-back hair. Beside him a woman in an orange and red saree stands with hands folded in namaste. In the foreground a shaved-head sannyasi in orange cloth, bare-backed, climbs the steps. A multicoloured tasselled canopy in red, yellow, blue and green stands at right, and pink oleander flowers grow behind a chain-link fence.2017-08-14August 03 20082008-08-03A photograph taken outdoors beneath a large banyan tree with thick aerial roots and a dense green canopy. A barefoot man in an orange saffron dhoti and shawl stands on a low stone platform, his right hand raised in a blessing gesture, his face partly turned. Scattered rose petals lie on the platform and ground, with a folded white cloth and a small red-and-brown object near the base. Three people stand in front of him with palms pressed together in namaste: a woman in a turquoise top and white skirt, a man in an orange shirt and white trousers with glasses, and a woman in a white sari on the right. A video camera on a tripod stands nearby on the red earth.2010-10-09Outdoor photo of a group standing on red stone steps beneath a line of red and saffron flags on tall poles. A bearded man in a rust-red robe with a long brown rudraksha-style mala stands near the centre, with long dark hair, a distinctive appearance but not clearly enough for a confident identification, so this is an uncertain candidate. Nearby, a young man in saffron clothing with a large beaded necklace stands on the left beside a bag and folded cloth. Behind them, several saffron-robed sannyasis stand on the steps. On the right, a woman in a yellow kurta and two men in white and light blue shirts stand watching. A gold lion-figured throne or seat with a dark velvet cloth sits on the steps.2017-03-26A photograph of an outdoor walkway beside a still canal on the left, with a tall red brick stepped wall and a palm tree behind. A man in a yellow dhoti-style garment with a dark gold border and an orange turban walks toward the left, wearing a strand of beads around his neck and sandals. To the right, a cameraman in white dhoti and orange shawl films him with a handheld video camera. Behind the cameraman, a monk in orange robes and another man in white clothes stand near the wall. The walkway is grey concrete and the sky is overcast.2010-09-16January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copies
