September 15 20152015-09-15 +1 copiesA photograph of a procession inside a covered hall with a corrugated metal roof and exposed steel trusses. A central figure walks barefoot along a red carpet, wearing saffron-orange robes with gold borders, a matching saffron shawl, a red-and-orange flower garland, a rudraksha mala and a forehead bindi. Robed devotees in saffron and orange line both sides, several wearing gold necklaces, bindi and white forehead marks, and two women in white saris with red borders stand among them. Pillars and a framed wall display are visible at the right. Swamiji (probable) appears to be the central figure, judged from his long hair, garland, saffron robes and mala; the identification is appearance-based and uncertain.2013-02-28September 15 20152015-09-15 +1 copiesA procession inside a large covered hall with striped multicoloured rugs on the floor. In the centre, a man in an orange-saffron robe with a red-orange rudraksha mala and a white forehead mark walks beside a man in a maroon-brown robe with a red-orange headcloth, a gold-coloured garland and gold waist bands. Another man in maroon with gold bands and a gold garland walks behind, a white forehead mark on his head. On the left, men in white dhotis and orange shawls walk with a man in a grey-striped shirt holding papers. Women in white and orange saris stand along the sides, and a gilded throne-like seat with a golden canopy and a golden urn-style seat stands at the right edge. Garlands and a shrine with figures are visible in the background.2015-09-14Photograph of a procession-like moment indoors in a hall with orange-red walls and fluorescent tube lights. To his left, a bald priest with white tilak on his forehead, orange shawl and rust dhoti with gold stripes. Behind them, a man in a blue lungi and white shirt, a bare-chested attendant with a rudraksha mala, and a crowd of onlookers. Printed signs and banners line the wall behind them.2013-02-11May 10 20122012-05-10January 12 20152015-01-12A procession walks along a red carpet under a tented pavilion with tan and white draping and stacked chairs. In the foreground, a smiling man in a dark red-orange dhoti and shawl with gold borders, a red turban, and a thick gold-beaded necklace walks forward, a red-and-gold cord visible at his waist. Behind him, several men in saffron-orange robes with gold borders and rudraksha malas follow, along with men in white dhotis and red-orange shawls, and a few women in saffron saris and a child in the background. Tie colours to owners: the lead figure wears the turban and gold necklace; others wear plain white or saffron garments. Strong appearance cues on the lead figure (red turban, gold necklace, saffron-gold attire) are consistent with a person candidate in a ceremonial procession, though the image is not conclusive.2015-07-25Photograph of a group of saffron- and maroon-robed men walking out through a doorway of a temple at night, with a teal-painted wall and a lit light fixture above. The man at centre wears an orange dhoti and shawl, a rudraksha mala, and a white tilak on his forehead, with a light-coloured cloth over one shoulder. Figures on either side wear maroon robes with gold borders, gold-trimmed shawls and garlands, and white vibhuti marks on their foreheads. Several other men in orange and white garments stand behind them, one bare-chested with a white dhoti. Stone pillars frame the entrance.2015-09-16April 23 20162016-04-23A covered outdoor pavilion with a corrugated roof and red-painted posts shows a procession walking across a striped woven mat in green, red, blue and cream.
