Outdoor photo of a large ceremonial gathering at a stepped red-stone tank or pool at an ashram campus. Hundreds of people in mostly white clothing and some orange, red and green saris sit on tiered steps facing a raised platform at the top right. On the platform, several figures sit on ornate chairs under decorative orange and yellow parasols; one person in orange robes is seated near the front. A camera operator in a dark shirt and yellow shorts stands on the lower steps beside a tripod-mounted camera and a boom pole. Orange-robed monks sit at the bottom left, and white-clad helpers are visible along the steps. Flags, colourful arches and a festive temple-style structure decorate the background.2013-12-27A large crowd of devotees sits on red stone steps beside a rectangular water tank at an outdoor ashram event. Many people wear white dhotis and shawls, some with bare upper bodies, while others wear saffron or orange robes and garments. A few women in white and in orange sari-style dress are seated among them. A gilded ornate throne stands on a raised platform partway up the steps, draped with coloured cloth, and a cameraman's tripod and boom rig is set up on the left. Pale pink flowering shrubs, orange flags and a temple spire appear at the top of the image.2017-05-22 +1 copiesDecember 27 20162016-12-27June 02 20172017-06-02March 10 20132013-03-10Outdoor photo of a large crowd seated on red stone steps beside water, many holding small brass lamps and bowls. Hundreds of saffron-robed sannyasis and devotees in orange and maroon fill the steps, with many white-clad attendants standing above. A central figure in orange sits on a raised seat under multiple orange and red umbrellas, with a trident-topped staff and ornamental gold-and-blue canopy behind. Empty orange thrones flank the steps, and a decorated canopy and palm fronds frame the scene.2013-12-27Aerial view of a large crowd gathered on the stepped stone ghats beside a reflecting water tank at a temple-like complex. Rows of unlit oil lamps line the red stepped banks on the left, and potted plants sit on the upper steps. Many devotees, mostly women in white and in bright saris of pink, green, yellow and orange, sit closely packed on the steps and along the railing, some holding long bamboo poles or sticks. A man in white stands among them with arm extended, and banana leaves and green decorative leaves are tied along the railings. The scene suggests a night ritual gathering with a mass of devotees facing the water.2010-02-12December 27 20132013-12-27January 03 20162016-01-03June 02 20172017-06-02
