A man stands outdoors in front of a dark green wall and leafy plant, looking upward with a calm expression. A red shawl drapes over his left shoulder and across his body, over a blue and gold patterned garment, with a heavy gold bead necklace hanging to his waist. A red tilak mark is on his forehead. A white fabric edge fills the lower foreground, and a few other people are partially visible at the right edge.
