A photograph in a hall with red velvet drapes. A man with grey hair, wearing a white kurta and a rudraksha mala with a small name badge, kneels on a white-draped platform and touches the forehead of a seated figure. That seated figure has long swept-back dark hair, wears an orange saffron robe and a rudraksha mala, and sits on a white-covered couch beside a tall brass oil lamp with a flame and flower. Behind them a man in orange robes sits on the floor, and a potted palm stands at left. The seated figure matches the Swamiji appearance cues of long hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha beads, so the in-person candidate is probable, while the kneeling devotee in white is a devotee.2008-01-25A seated figure with long swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange saffron garment over a red undershirt and a red shawl, sits on a gold throne decorated with a floral garland of white, yellow, red and purple flowers. He rests his right hand on the head of a man in a white kurta who bows forward, his hand gripping the bowed man's hands. Scattered yellow petals fall around them. Seated devotees in orange and saffron clothing and onlookers in the foreground, a microphone stand and blue and red drapes complete the stage setting. Swamiji (probable) is shown by long hair, orange saffron clothing and a seated throne posture, with a devotee blessing being given.2008-01-01A photograph of a seated figure in an orange saffron robe with long dark hair swept back, wearing a white and orange flower garland, placing a hand on the head of a kneeling devotee in white clothes. The seated figure sits on a flower-decorated throne with a carved white lion or deity figure beside it, a microphone on a stand before them, and a red heart-shaped decoration behind. A standing attendant in white with an orange shawl holds a yellow cloth nearby. Marigold and jasmine garlands decorate the dais, and a white fan is visible in the background. This is a paada puja or blessing scene.2007-07-29A seated man in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back hair, a red bindi on his forehead and a silver chain necklace smiles while receiving a gift wrapped in red cloth with gold trim from a younger attendant in orange robes who leans in from the left. Behind them is an ornate gold-embossed throne backdrop with a red patterned cushion.2008-10-06A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes and a draped orange shawl sits cross-legged on a red and dark-red tiger-striped cushioned seat in front of an ornate gold repoussé backrest. A red bindi marks his forehead and a thick silver-toned beaded mala hangs around his neck. His hands rest together in his lap and his gaze turns to one side. A red flower decorates the gilded throne at the upper right. The scene reads as a seated dais setting.2008-10-03May 09 20142014-05-09A photograph of a seated figure with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a tiger-striped yellow and black garment, a pink and white flower garland, a rudraksha mala and a gold armband, placing his hand on the forehead of a kneeling man in a white kurta with an orange shawl. Behind them a man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala photographs the scene. A red velvet throne and gold ornamental panel frame the left side, with green foliage in the background. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure with the distinctive long hair, garland and tiger-striped garment, giving blessing to the devotee.2012-12-16A seated man in an orange-red robe with a rudraksha mala and a bare upper body places his right hand on the head of a young boy in a white shirt, who has his eyes closed and is receiving blessing. The man holds a silver staff with a finial in his left hand, and gold drapery is visible at the lower left. Behind them, other devotees in white and saffron-brown clothing sit in a room with white walls and a red floor mat. The man's appearance with distinctive saffron robes and rudraksha beads is consistent with a person, though identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2014-07-06A seated man in an ornate golden throne with a red velvet back and gilded lion-head armrests, dressed in a red silk kurta and matching red trousers with gold embroidery and a gold-brown shawl draped over one shoulder. He wears a red bindi and has long dark hair, smiling broadly, with red and yellow flower garlands and scattered red petals around the base of the throne against a deep blue backdrop. Appearance-based cues (long swept hair, ornate clothing, ceremonial throne) suggest a person seated in state, though identity is uncertain from the image alone.2007-02-02 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated man with long dark hair, wearing an orange saffron robe with rudraksha beads, seated on a white-draped throne-like chair in front of deep red velvet drapes. A kneeling older man in a white shirt and white dhoti, with a rudraksha mala, presses his palm to the seated man's forehead. A golden oil lamp stands beside them and a potted palm is at left. Another person in orange robes sits at the far left edge. The seated man's long hair, orange robe and rudraksha beads match the probable Swamiji cues, so this is a probable Swamiji in the scene, shown receiving a forehead blessing.2008-01-25October 02 20082008-10-02June 21 20092009-06-21
