In the centre a person in a saffron-orange robe with a long orange-and-gold beaded necklace and long, loose hair stands beside a large rounded boulder set on red earth. Most surrounding men wear white shirts and white dhotis or kurtas, with some in checked shirts and lungis. A small white vehicle is parked in the distance.2005-11-13A photograph of a rural footpath through scrubby grass and shrubs under an overcast sky, with a palm tree and large boulders at right. A man with long dark hair and a flowing orange robe walks barefoot in front on the right, wearing sandals and a saffron wrap over one shoulder. Beside him a balding man in a plain white shirt and white dhoti walks in the centre, and a younger man in white kurta and dhoti walks just ahead. Behind them several men in orange robes follow in a line, some carrying orange-tipped staffs or flags. The leading orange-robed figure has long hair and a shawl-like wrap, and the appearance cues are visible but not conclusive, so identity is uncertain.2006-09-16August 03 20082008-08-03Outdoor photo on open dry ground with low scrub, trees and distant hills under a pale sky. A figure with long dark hair, wearing an orange saffron shawl and orange dhoti and a long beaded necklace, stands before a large flat boulder. Around the rock, a group of men in white dhotis and white shirts stand in a loose circle, one man with a hand raised to his face and another in a light blue shirt and dark trousers on the right. Swamiji (probable) appears in the orange robes with long hair and the beaded mala, standing near the boulder.2005-11-13August 03 20082008-08-03August 03 20082008-08-03A group walks along a dry, reddish dirt path through scrubby bushes and boulders, with a palm tree and trees behind them under a pale sky. In the foreground, a young man with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange robe draped over his body and sandals, walking forward. Beside him, a second man in an orange kurta and dhoti holds a small object in his hand. Behind them, about a dozen people in white clothing, some with yellow accents, follow along the trail as part of a walking journey around Arunachala hill.2009-08-05August 03 20082008-08-03
