A workshop with a corrugated roof and concrete-block walls where a seated craftsman in a white shirt and checked lungi works on a wooden carved piece on the floor. A standing person in an orange sleeveless top and orange dhoti, with long curly hair and back to the camera, rests a hand on the carving while a young man in a light blue t-shirt and white dhoti looks on. Scattered on the floor are wooden pieces, yellow paper templates, brass or copper sheets and tools. A large black-and-white photograph of a smiling man with a tilak and cloth on his head hangs on the wall, and a banner behind them reads Sri Arunachaleswar Temple and Abhishekam.2007-12-23A thatched-roof open workshop shed with a wire-mesh and breeze-block wall behind it. A man in a white vest and checked lungi sits on the left, bent over a wooden board and drawing or carving with a pen-like tool. Beside him, a standing figure wears a long flowing orange robe over one shoulder, with long dark swept-back hair and orange sandals, looking down at the work. The concrete floor holds scrap wood, sheets of metal-looking material, a bucket-like metal vessel, a green water bottle and hanging white and red cloths. A dark statue leans against the left wall and a large carved relief sits on the right. A large printed portrait is partly visible on the left wall.2006-12-10A photograph inside an open thatched-roof shed with a concrete floor and a green metal mesh fence behind it. A tall figure with long, dark, swept-back hair and an orange saffron robe draped over the shoulders stands on the right, facing left, with his back partly turned to the camera. A bare-chested man in a white vest and checked lungi sits on a white plastic chair at the left, drawing or marking on a piece of board with a pen. Wooden planks, cardboard, a clay pot, plastic bottles, clothing hung on a line, and a large framed portrait of a woman's face on the left wall are scattered around the space.2006-12-10A photograph inside an unfinished hall during temple construction. A smiling man with long dark hair and a white-and-red forehead mark wears an orange sleeveless wrap and a long dark rudraksha mala, with a red garment underneath. Behind him a worker in a maroon shirt stands near a wheelbarrow, with wooden planks leaning against the bare wall. On the left, a large pale draped cloth covers a raised platform, and at right an ornate gold-framed panel is visible. The man has long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a rudraksha mala, cues consistent with the a person identity, though the appearance is not fully certain.2007-11-07December 23 20072007-12-23February 28 20132013-02-28A smiling man with long, loose dark hair and a red bindi stands in front of a wooden door with a white wall to the left. He wears an orange saffron shawl over his shoulders and a long chain of gold beads with a small gold pendant. A second person in a red t-shirt and orange dhoti stands beside him, holding a brass staff with ornate finials. The man has distinctive long hair, a gold bead necklace and saffron clothing, a compatible presentation, but the appearance is not certain enough to confirm identity; he is described only by role and appearance.2007-12-23A long-haired man in orange saffron cloth, wearing a gold headband with a central medallion and a red bindi, smiles while standing in front of a plain white wall. He wears a long gold bead necklace over the orange wrap, which is draped over one shoulder. Behind him hang orange cloth panels and a colourful painted pillar with blue, red and yellow floral patterns, and a framed photo display is on the left. At the far left edge, a person in white clothes stands with hands folded.2007-12-27March 01 20132013-03-01December 23 20072007-12-23September 29 20062006-09-29 +1 copiesDecember 23 20082008-12-23 +1 copies
