Four men sit cross-legged on a woven straw mat in a hall, working on saffron cloth and bamboo sticks. The man in front left wears a white dhoti and an orange shawl and has a shaved-looking dark head, and bends over the cloth. Beside him a man in white dhoti and orange shawl works with a thread. Behind them, a seated person in orange robes and a rudraksha mala handles bamboo staves, and another person in orange sits at the edge. Scattered on the mat are bamboo poles, orange fabric strips, white cloth, and a pair of scissors. Behind them stand gilded deity murti figures and a brass kalasha, with a framed picture of a violinist on the wall at left. This looks like preparation of ritual items for a training or initiation session.

A ritual scene in a room with maroon curtains. A man with long dark hair and an orange robe sits on a cushioned throne with a golden cobra-hood backrest, hands pressed in anjali. In front of him a white-clad priest kneels on a white cloth, holding a ritual item, beside a small oil lamp burning on a tray. A woman in an orange sari with hands folded sits nearby, and a man in orange and white with a garland kneels at the right. Brass pots, a plate of fruit, grains, and a kalasha-like vessel sit on a tray for puja and aarti, with a golden deity murti and a figure with a staff standing in the background.

A row of men seated on the floor in a temple hall performs a puja with ringing handbells and incense sticks. Front centre, a man in orange saffron robes and rudraksha beads holds a bell in one hand and an incense stick in the other. Beside him, another man in orange robes with glasses and beads holds a bell. Behind them, men in white dhotis and white shirts with white tilaka markings on their foreheads and arms hold bells and incense. Brass plates with offerings, small oil lamps, flowers and fruit are set on the floor in front of them. A golden ornate throne or peetha stands at the right edge, and a curtain hangs behind.

A photograph of a row of seated men performing a puja in an indoor hall with a red curtain backdrop. In the foreground a man in white dhoti and shawl with gold-edged border and rudraksha mala holds his hands together in front of brass lamps and offerings on a mat. Beside him a man in white with gold-bordered shawl, bangles and ash markings, and several men in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas sit with hands folded near a brass plate of flowers, fruit and lit oil lamps. Small oil lamps and brass puja vessels are arranged along the floor, with a green-lidded plastic container and a glass container at the right. Several people sit further back in the blurred background.

Photograph of a ritual gathering in an indoor hall with a red curtain and a golden ornate throne backed by a framed portrait of a bearded figure in a red turban and saffron robes. Several young men in orange-saffron dhotis and shawls sit cross-legged on mats, most shown from behind with long hair and bare backs, some with white sacred markings on their bodies. A standing man in orange robes holds a small bell and a lamp near a low wooden stand, and small brass lamps, flower-decorated plates and offering trays are arranged on the floor. A seated figure in white and gold clothing sits near the throne. Additional people in orange are visible along the right side.

Indoor group session on a red-tiled floor in front of a purple curtain. Several men in white dhotis and white kurtas sit cross-legged in a circle; three wear orange shawls over their shoulders, and one of them, a shaved-headed man in the centre, gestures with open hands while speaking. Others hold notebooks and pens. In the background, a golden ornate seat holds a figure in red draped with a garland, and a red and orange banner hangs on the wall. Two people with dark hair are seen from behind at the bottom edge of the frame.
