A photograph of a temple shrine in South India with dark stone pillars carved with figures and a stone shrine doorway lit by a small oil lamp flame inside. In the foreground at left, an elderly man with a white head cloth and white shirt, barefoot, bends forward holding a yellow cloth bag. A small stone lingam-like object sits on the floor in front of the shrine. The walls behind are light-coloured with carved stone pillars rising to a roof overhang.Photo 117413831988 - Ochre Robe Given by Arunagiri Yogishwara +1 copies1988 - Ochre Robe Given by Arunagiri YogishwaraMarch 11 20182018-03-11A dim stone shrine niche photographed straight on. Two carved stone lions with manes flank a dark relief panel showing a figure seated beneath a tree, possibly a sage in meditation. A small oil lamp with a yellow-orange flame sits on a low stone ledge in the foreground. Below, a small black stone lingam-style base or pedestal, sprinkled with red kumkum powder and yellow petals, stands on a stone floor. No people are visible in the scene.April 28 20222022-04-28Photo 11741379April 28 20222022-04-28January 12 20072007-01-12May 30 20122012-05-30 +1 copiesSeptember 11 20122012-09-11 +1 copies
