Viewed from behind, a large crowd of seated devotees, many in white and cream clothes and some bare-chested men, faces a stage at an event. In the foreground, several figures in saffron-orange robes stand raising brass oil lamps and ceremonial implements, one holding a lit lamp high. The stage backdrop shows a colourful arched frame with a deity murti or image seated in its centre, surrounded by rows of white-robed participants and flanked by large amber-lit screens and red and magenta curtains. The scene reads as a satsang or ritual aarti before a deity murti. No single figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance alone.2018-01-09A large stage event in an ornate hall with red and magenta side curtains and overhead stage lights.
