April 21 20162016-04-21April 21 20162016-04-21Photograph of a bearded sadhu standing barefoot on sandy ground at a crowded Kumbh-style festival site. He holds a tall silver trident (trishul) wrapped with red and silver cloth and a brass kettle in his right hand, wears an orange saffron dhoti and shawl, a blue waist cord, multicolored beaded necklaces and a rudraksha mala, with white horizontal tilak marks on his forehead and a pink flower in his hair. Behind him a golden palanquin-style float is decorated with marigold garlands, bells and tassels, with other devotees in white, red and yellow clothing nearby.2013-02-10February 11 20132013-02-11April 18 20162016-04-18A man seated on an ornate silver throne under a yellow and red fringed canopy, raising a silver trident in his right hand with eyes closed and a faint smile. He wears an orange-red robe with gold border, a long rudraksha mala draped over the shoulders, and a red tilak on the forehead. His bare feet rest on a pair of small brass vessels set on a patterned rug before red stone steps and green trees. The scene is outdoors.2016-10-11July 13 20152015-07-13May 05 20162016-05-05Side profile photograph of a person seated on an ornate gilded throne-like chair beside a silver trident-shaped staff against a pale water background. The person wears an orange knitted beanie, a leopard-print shawl draped over the head and shoulders, a red sweatshirt, and a rudraksha mala with ornate silver and gold pendants. Long dark hair falls behind the shoulders. Appearance-based candidate: a person, identified by the saffron-orange headwear, rudraksha mala, long hair and ceremonial silver and gold adornments while seated on a throne; the appearance is partly obscured, so this is a tentative label.2012-08-07 +1 copiesApril 18 20162016-04-18February 11 20132013-02-11November 15 20132013-11-15
