Night photograph of a crowded village lane lit by a distant street lamp under dark tree canopy. Many men in white shirts and dhotis, plus a few in checked shirts, press forward. On the right, a young man in an orange-red garment with a rudraksha mala stands out, and a uniformed police officer walks among the crowd near the centre. A small group of people stands near a building with a balcony and grille gate on the left, and a vehicle is partly visible further back. The lane is busy with onlookers and devotees gathered around the road.

A night-time photograph of a long line of men and women standing on a paved road in front of trees and a building, appearing to wait in a procession queue. Several men wear white dhotis and white shirts, one wears a checked shirt and dark trousers, and one older bare-chested man wears a red-orange dhoti and a white cloth. A man near the centre holds a brass plate or tray with offerings. A woman at the right edge wears a pink sari with gold-toned embroidery and folds her arms. Strings of decorative leaves hang over the path, and a small lamp glows at the left edge.

Night photograph of a group walking along a dimly lit temple street past illuminated temple gopuram lights and tall dark trees. Several men in white dhotis and cream shirts walk in the foreground, one with a red tilak mark on his shirt. A central figure in an orange-red saffron garment with a rudraksha mala and long garland-like beads walks with a smile, with an older bearded man in white and an orange shawl beside him. Other devotees, including women in dark saris, follow along the path.

Dusk street scene of a large crowd walking along a road lined with bare and leafy trees, with a street lamp and strings of coloured lights on a building at left. Many people, mostly men in white shirts and dhotis or trousers, walk in motion blur, with women in saris at left and a few in orange clothing. A man in a pink-and-white striped shirt talks on a mobile phone. The people appear to be part of a procession or pilgrimage, with no visible a person candidate in the crowd.

A night-time photo of a group of devotees walking along a dirt path lined with trees and a white boundary wall. In the foreground a man in a white polo shirt and grey trousers walks toward the camera, beside a woman in a blue sari. Behind them children and adults follow, including a boy in an orange sleeveless top and a boy in a striped pink shirt, with several men in white shirts further back. Lights glow near a building on the left, and no one in the scene is wearing saffron or ornate clothing that would identify a swami.

A night-time photograph of a group of about a dozen people walking across a dirt courtyard beneath a tree with pale flowers. A woman in orange salwar kameez carries a white tote bag, another in orange walks nearby, and men in white kurta-style clothes and pale trousers walk with them. Some carry bags and a small yellow object. Behind them stands a low orange-brick building with a lit doorway under a light fixture, and a tree branch frames the top of the frame.

Night photograph of a dirt path lined with trees and a white wall, where a group of men walk toward the camera. The front two men wear light yellow and light blue button-up shirts with dark trousers; a man in a dark shirt and a man in a striped blue shirt walk nearby, and a bald man in a white shirt holds a plastic bag. Behind them a line of further men in white and pale shirts stretches back toward yellow barricades and red and white signs. Trees and a green shrub frame the scene under darkness.

Night photo of a large crowd walking across an open dirt courtyard near a lit temple gateway with a tower-like structure in the background. Many men wear white shirts and dhotis, some in checked or pastel shirts. Women wear saris in orange, pink and teal. In the foreground a man in a white shirt has a green-and-white striped shawl draped over his shoulder, and a woman in a teal blouse and red-patterned sari carries a small bundle. Stalls with white cloth and items are visible at the left edge, and a flowering tree stands at right. The page appears to describe a walk around Arunachala Hill, but no a person is visible in this frame.
