Bangles, a rudraksha mala and gold ornaments are visible on the arm. Beside them, a bearded man in a white shirt and saffron-red shawl kneels with a white-clad woman who lights or offers at the lamp. Behind them, shaven-headed young men in saffron and white robes stand with garlands and trays, and a man in a blue checked shirt stands in the doorway. Marigold garlands hang in the room. This appears to be a puja scene with a silver trident (trishul) and oil lamp in a home setting. Swamiji (probable) appears as the seated figure with long hair, saffron robe and rudraksha mala holding the staff.2014-06-20A photograph of a temple ritual with gold-framed shrines behind, draped in pink and red fabric and decorated with marigold and multicoloured garlands. In the foreground a smiling figure in a rust-brown and gold dhoti-style wrap, wearing a large gold necklace, rudraksha-style beads, gold armlets and a rust turban, stands at the front. Beside him a bald man with white forehead markings wears a brown wrap and beaded necklace. An older bearded man with white vibhuti markings and beads holds a brass plate of offerings, dressed in a yellow dhoti. Other men in white dhotis and bare chests stand nearby, and a woman in white with a pink cloth attends the shrine. Red carpet covers the floor, with a microphone stand at right and a golden stool bearing flowers.2013-07-18A photograph inside a hall with a temple-style backdrop of a deity shrine and gold-framed decorations. In the foreground, a man in an orange-brown dhoti with a heavy gold necklace and gold armlets holds a small white box and extends his hand to a man in a white shirt and a young boy with hands pressed together in greeting. Behind them, a bald priest in an orange-brown dhoti and shawl stands near a woman in white with a red shawl, and several people in white and red clothing are visible. Overall about 15 people are visible in the room, many partially shown in the background.2013-09-02November 26 20142014-11-26June 21 20142014-06-21 +1 copiesPhotograph of a crowded temple-side scene where a bearded man in an ochre-saffron robe and a long multicoloured flower garland stands at centre, smiling, with a long dark swept-back hair style and rudraksha-style beads at his neck. Around him devotees press in: a man in a white dhoti with gold border and a gold-trimmed shawl holds a small metal plate, and women in saris and gold necklaces stand nearby, with several men bearing white-and-red tilak marks on their foreheads. Swamiji (probable) appearance cues include the saffron robe, garland and long hair, placed in a crowd of devotees. Pale walls and a metal grille behind suggest a temple corridor.2017-02-07 +3 copiesJune 21 20142014-06-21 +1 copiesMay 01 20142014-05-01October 11 20142014-10-11
