A photograph of a pair of bare feet standing in a round brass tray of water with white jasmine flowers floating around them. The feet are marked with red and white markings, and an orange-red cloth drapes over the top of the frame. The tray rests on an ornate silver-coloured stand over a woven mat. Scattered flower petals lie on the mat. Only the feet and robe are visible, so the person is not seen in full.2003 - Sacred collection Uncategorized2003 -Glimpses From Various ProgramsClose view of a pair of bare feet resting in an ornate silver tray filled with milk or water and pink and white flower petals. The feet wear orange cloth at the ankles, and a hand with a ring and a bangle holds the plate's edge while a pink silk cloth with gold border lies beneath. Red and white rose petals and yellow flower petals are scattered over the plate, consistent with a padapuja foot-worship ritual. Only a portion of an orange-robed person and a white-clad attendant are visible at the frame's edges.Close-up photograph of bare feet resting on a golden tray during a pada pooja, the foot-worship ritual. The feet are dark-skinned and adorned with loose white jasmine-like flowers and green stems. The person wears orange (saffron) robes draped over the leg at right. Behind the feet sit silver and crystal vessels and a small brass oil lamp on an ornate gold-toned tray. Only the feet and orange-clad leg are visible, so the person is partially visible, not fully shown.2010-08-25Close photo of a pair of bare feet standing in a round polished brass tray during padapuja, the feet washed in milk and strewn with red rose petals and white flower petals.
