December 01 20102010-12-01A photograph of an outdoor scene in a garden setting with lush green trees behind. A white-clothed devotee sits on the ground at the front left, and several seated people in white clothes are arranged around a central raised platform. On the platform sits a figure in orange or saffron robes beside an ornate shrine or murti setting with a small deity figure under an arched canopy. Oil lamps and offerings are placed in front of the shrine. The scene appears to be a puja or darshan gathering held outdoors.2010-10-02June 03 20122012-06-03 +1 copiesMay 08 20122012-05-08A photograph inside a temple shrine. In the foreground, a bare-chested man in orange clothes stands with his back to the camera and raises his arm toward an ornate central figure. Behind him, a seated person in orange robes sits beside a large decorated deity murti with an ornate crown and garlands, set in a white arched niche with a red and gold canopy. A man in white sits at the far right edge, partly visible. The scene suggests a puja or aarti at a shrine. The man at the centre is not clearly identifiable as a person from appearance alone.2012-05-08May 09 20122012-05-09 +1 copiesA photograph inside a temple shrine showing a standing deity murti dressed in orange and red garments with a golden crown, placed in a niche. In front, a seated priest in saffron-orange robes sits on the floor, with a shaved head, facing a tray of offerings and small brass vessels, and a steel or brass lamp stand nearby. Pale tiled walls surround the sanctum. The scene suggests puja or abhishekam being performed, with the deity as the focus.2012-05-08May 07 20122012-05-07 +1 copiesMay 08 20122012-05-08 +1 copiesA small photograph showing a group of people in saffron and orange robes standing beside a dark bronze statue of a seated deity. The scene appears to be an outdoor setting with greenery behind. A figure in orange at left holds an object near the statue, while others stand close by. The image is low resolution, so fine details of clothing and objects are hard to make out. The page excerpt labels this as a gallery view of a walking stick used by the Supreme Pontiff, but the visible content does not show that object clearly enough to confirm it.May 08 20122012-05-08 +1 copiesA golden metal statue of a standing figure in a gilded ornate arch with repoussé floral and foliate carvings, topped by a decorative crest. The statue wears an orange-saffron turban, orange robe draped over the shoulder, and a long dark rudraksha mala, with one hand raised in blessing and the other hanging at the side, holding a bamboo staff with an orange flag at the top. Brass kalasha vessels and draped green and orange cloth sit at the base on a lotus-shaped pedestal. The statue is a depiction and not a living person, and it has no printed text.
