A silver pedestal stand with a red cup and brass bowl sits to the left, and a copper-rimmed vessel appears at the bottom. The setting suggests an aushada or herbal-preparation ritual. Partially visible arm and knee only; the face is cropped out.2017-08-29August 29 20172017-08-29August 29 20172017-08-29October 16 20162016-10-16Close-up photograph of two gold-coloured ritual objects resting on an upturned palm or lap. On the left is a gold trident (trishula) with a central blade and curved side prongs and a small floral ornament at its base. On the right is a gold ornament resembling a shaped finial or damaru-like form. Behind them is a leopard-print fabric in orange and black, and blurred green foliage. No people are clearly visible beyond the hand and forearm supporting the objects.2020-05-27October 16 20162016-10-16October 16 20162016-10-16Photograph from behind of a bare-backed man holding up a gold trident (trishul) in his right hand. His long dark hair is braided and falls down his back, with a rudraksha-style brown mala draped over his shoulder. Blurred seated devotees fill the foreground and background of a large hall with white draped walls and a red pillar. A red digital display sits at left. The trident and a thin gold bangle are the sharpest details.2016-12-12A close photograph of a gilded trident staff with a tall central prong and two curved side prongs, its shaft decorated with ornate carved motifs. A small silver damaru drum hangs from the shaft just below the trident head. The background is a soft-focus grey expanse of water with greenery and blurred structures along the far bank. No people are visible.2008-06-28
