The figure wears a deep maroon-brown head covering and a rudraksha mala with ornate gold jewelled plates and a gold waist ornament. Behind, purple and gold fabric and gold-toned sculpted figures are visible. The gold serpent canopy suggests a deity form or a ceremonial decorated murti rather than a living person.2016-12-17December 17 20162016-12-17December 10 20162016-12-10A photograph of a temple sanctum showing a central deity murti of Shiva seated on a golden throne-like seat with a crescent moon on a crown, flanked by a female murti in gold and purple sari with a tall decorated crown, and standing figures on either side, one in a red turban and one in a red headcloth with a rudraksha-style necklace. The figures are decorated with densely layered garlands of marigolds and roses in red, yellow, purple and white, and an ornate golden arch frames the scene. In front lies a shivalinga adorned with garlands and a silver-trimmed base, with an oil lamp at the right edge. No living people are visible; all figures are statues.2017-12-02December 16 20182018-12-16Close-up photograph of a deity murti of Lord Shiva as a shivalinga-style form draped in long garlands of white jasmine-like flowers, red roses and orange and yellow marigolds. Beneath is a heap of yellow flowers and a gold and jewelled base. Behind it, saffron and gold brocade cloth and sparkling ornamental fabric fill the frame. No people are visible.2018-12-20 +1 copiesDecember 14 20182018-12-14December 12 20162016-12-12August 12 20182018-08-12
