A large seated congregation in white clothes sits on colourful mats facing a gilded shrine at the front of a hall. Many backs are visible in the foreground, with some men holding small yellow cushions or books. On the shrine stand gold-coloured deity murtis and an elaborate golden throne-like dais; a seated figure in orange robes appears at the centre of the altar, and a standing man in white stands at the left edge. Video cameras on tripods face the stage, and framed screens on either side show painted imagery. Red drapes hang behind the shrine, with gold pillars framing it.2016-07-17Wide view from behind a seated congregation in a hall during a satsang. Dozens of devotees in plain white clothes sit cross-legged on red, pink and green mats facing a raised golden stage. On the stage, a large golden deity murti sits on an ornate throne beside another golden-clad figure and a seated figure in orange. Red curtains, golden pillars and a decorative garland hang behind. Cameras on tripods film the stage, and a screen on the left shows a colourful image. Several have red cloths tied at the head and they are doing synchronized arm movements on pink and purple mats. At the centre, a large golden deity murti stands on a golden pedestal with a golden kalasha-like ornament above, and to its right a decorated golden shrine holds several seated figures. A figure in an orange robe sits near the front on the left side. Large framed portraits of a man with long dark hair and garlands hang on the side walls, red curtains frame the stage, and a small white dove logo appears at the upper left.2016-07-18A large seated congregation fills a hall, most people in white clothes facing a raised stage at the far end. On the stage, a golden figure seated beneath a green-leafed tree backdrop is framed between red curtains and lit by spotlights, with a camera on a tripod nearby. Two side screens show illuminated deity images, and a man in a light shirt stands near the stage. Many devotees sit on mats with the backs of their heads visible in the foreground, some wearing red and blue garments, a few in striped and checked shirts. This appears to be a satsang-style gathering of devotees attending a programme.2016-03-07January 30 20162016-01-30October 31 20152015-10-31July 18 20162016-07-18A large crowd of mostly bare-chested male devotees sits closely packed on mats in a tented hall during an evening gathering. Many wear white dhotis and sacred threads, and several have rudraksha malas with red beads around their necks. Behind them, a golden shrine area displays ornate gilded canopies, a golden palanquin-style structure, a deity murti, and brightly coloured floral decorations. No individual figure can be identified as a person from the visible cues here, and the scene shows a satsang or ritual assembly seen from behind the audience.2016-12-07
